Services are provided for developmentally disabled children and adults living at home with families, or adults living independently. These services include: habilitation training specialists (direct care staff), respite care, adaptive equipment, architectural modifications, medical supplies and services, various therapies, family training and counseling, transportation and employment services.
This living arrangement provides an opportunity for children or adults who need extra care due to phsical, emotional, or behavioral challenges to receive the support they need. Families that participate in this program are trained to foster children or adults with long-term conditions. A social worker will work closely with the parent(s). A caring home environment is crucial to development and lessens the chances of hospitalization. Dedication is required.
Homes that provide residents with daily living skills, nutrition, training, transportation, and other opportunities to gain greater independence.
In this program, an adult with disabilities shares a home with a companion who is not a social service recipient. The companion provides all the necessary support, leisure services and transportation. The companion and the individual share all living and housing expenses. The goal is to establish a more permanent homogenous relationship that will benefit both parties.
We specialize in providing drug and alcohol abuse treatment, mental health support, food bank services, and transportation to homeless veterans and other individuals in need. Additionally, we assist them by finding placement at shelters, hospitals, and medical foster homes. Services are provided by a team of professionals with expertise in dealing with complex issues that hinder stability.
Assisting ex-offenders to find stability through relationship with God, with self, and with their community by connecting them with local resources, developing skills that lead to employment while nourishing them within a Christian environment.
Vacations and other social opportunities are provided for people who are faced with developmental challenges. This program also provides supports designed to foster independence. The program is funded through donations and through the money each participant has earned while working.
Our staff is composed of social workers, therapeutic recreators and direct support providers who have many years of experience working in agencies serving adults with developmental challenges.
